Never again!
Recenze hotelu Hotel U Černého Orla (Česko - Vysočina - Telč)
I booked this hotel for my friends who came for my wedding from Germany. When I came to check in/pay for them I was shocked how badly I was treated. When I came to the reception there was nobody but it was fine as there was a sign explaining to press the bell if nobody is present. I followed the sign and waiting around 10minutes when a man popped in to say: Wait I will be back soon. ( No hello, please, sorry was heard from him) I was waiting at least another 15minutes. Luckily I wasn't in a rush. When the man showed up he couldn't find the reservation that I made on booking.com. When he started asking me when I booked the room, if I am sure I booked it with them etc. he made me feel like I'm lying to him. When he found the reservation that was made on my name but it showed only my friends name he was very rude. When I asked him if I can by American Express he replied: I do not know. I still tried it. It didn't work so I just said I'll try my other card. He told me he doesn't have time for me to try another 100 cards (I wish I had so many cards!) I left very upset and if I could have cancelled it I would have done but unfortunately all other hotels in the town were fully booked. I'm not surprised that this hotel was empty. I will never recommend this hotel to anybody and will complain to the manager too.
